Mr. Spriggs has been the school Administrator at CCA since 2008. Before that, he taught Mathematics and Computers at Cape Christian Academy. He is excited about the growth here at school, especially the spiritual growth seen in each of the children. In addition to being the Director of our Early Learning Center, Mrs. Rosenberg also works as a Director for our summer camp program and teaches several high school classes. She considers it a blessing and a joy to see her children grow and develop in both their faith and their knowledge of the world around them. “The students at CCA are awesome and their desire to learn is contagious.” In her free time, she is busy with her church and loves traveling with family and friends. Mrs. Jessica Quirk, our new toddler room teacher, is married with two young sons (pictured with her), students at CCA. She strongly believes that sharing the love of Jesus with young children is the foundation for the rest of their lives. She is currently attending school and pursuing early education. This is Mrs. Springer’s second year teaching our Kindergarten class. She loves teaching them God’s word and getting to know her students. Kindergarten is filled with lots of hands on learning and fun activities. She is also a Sunday School teacher at Calvary Chapel in Erma. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”

A veteran teacher at CCA of 18 years, Miss Piccirilli is also an equestrian riding instructor at a local farm. She enjoys exercising at the gym or taking long walks on the beach. She also loves playing miniature golf with her five-year-old nephew. At school, she is grateful for the freedom to teach the Bible and to be able to incorporate biblical instruction through all the disciplines. Her favorite scripture is Romans 5:8 which outlines God’s plan for salvation, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” She attends Central Bible Church in Wildwood.

Mrs. Gina Cook is a wife and mother of two beautiful young women. She was born in Philadelphia, but has been a resident of Cape May County since the age of two. She graduated from Rowan University with bachelors degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. Mrs. Cook and her husband Chris are members of the First United Methodist Church in Cape May Court House. As a child, Mrs. Cook attended a Catholic school. but In her early twenties gained a more full understanding and knowledge of the necessity of being born again. She has been on a journey with the Lord ever since. Mrs. Cook’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 27:4, – One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.

With degrees in Bible and Elementary Education, Rhonda loves to watch her students transition from childhood to adolescence. As a teacher, she is always looking for ways to apply biblical values to each subject that is taught. Prior to teaching at CCA, she home-schooled her five children for 17 years through 8th grade when they transferred to Cape Christian Academy. In her free time, she enjoys playing games and sharing a meal with family and friends as well as listening to Christian music. Regarding a favorite scripture, Mrs. Harrison said, “All God’s word is so amazing.” The Harrisons attend Maranatha Church.

Mr. Caldwell comes to Cape Christian Academy with 20 years of private teaching experience in NJ. He was born in US to Canadian parents and lived first half of life in Canada. He played bass guitar in a band during high school years. He played for the Canadian Olympic Soccer Team, and professionally for Colchester United in England. Mrs. Pavlik loves being the school nurse for Cape Christian Academy. She recently retired from Ridgefield Connecticut Public School District after 17 years as a school nurse for the middle school student population. Gail’s nursing background includes pediatric nursing for St. Mary’s Hospital for Children, Long Island, N.Y. and fifteen years working in the operating room as a CNOR (Certified Nurse-Operating Room). Upon retirement from school nursing, she wanted to continue to work part-time in the school nursing field and is very thankful that she discovered that CCA needed part-time nursing services. Mrs. Pavlik also is a substitute teacher for our Early Learning Center.

Part of the CCA family since her children were kindergarten students, she enjoys her important role in the school office. She and her husband have a cabin in Maine which they visit each summer. She also loves camping, collecting bells and nutcrackers, and annual visits to see the Nutcracker ballet each Christmas. Her favorite Bible verses are Psalm 116:1-2 which provide great comfort, “I love the Lord for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live.” The Chambers attend Court House Methodist Church.

For nearly 10 years, Mrs. Arena has enjoyed assisting the school in various capacities, dedicating much of that time to promoting CCA and working in the school office. For the last several years, she has taught several junior high and high school classes. With a background in long-term care, marketing, and freelance writing, Mrs. Arena brings a diverse knowledge base of experiences to her position. Originally, she pursued a degree in Anthropology/Archaeology before switching majors. Married, with one son, she is an active member of the Lighthouse Church. In her free time, she enjoys walking her yellow lab, Indy, and reading. Her favorite verse is 2 Timothy 1:7.
